What’s the right greeting for a mountain club president installation?

The installation of a mountain club president is a time for unity and shared goals. Kick off the new year with a greeting that expresses gratitude, resolve, and the joy of the mountains.

Club president installation club president season greetings

Dear ○○Mountain Club members, I’m very happy to see you.
The weather has turned very cold. You can probably see white snowflakes on the mountains right now. How pretty they are. For that beautiful sight, they have to endure this cold winter wind.
It’s a morning when the wind blows as cold as if you’ve been dipped in a cold river and then pulled out.
People walking down the street snort and exhale as if to prove they’re alive with every breath. On a cold day like this, you look down instead of up, you stare straight ahead instead of far away, and you focus on one thing instead of looking around.
I’m sure our mountain members are used to the cold, but I don’t really feel the cold, and I remember walking around today looking straight ahead because it was so cold.
But on a day like this, I think it’s important to make an effort to look farther and look around. Why not share a little bit of your warmth with someone who might be shivering in the cold wind? I’d love to volunteer somewhere, but even if you don’t, I hope this is a day where we can share warmth amongst ourselves.
This spot today means so much to me.
I feel a heavy responsibility to lead this great organization in so many ways. I have been called by you and stand here in service.
I honor our first president for all the hard work he has done in founding and leading our organization.
And I would like to thank my predecessor, Mr. ○, for his hard work and dedication in building the great organization that we have today.
Honorable members of the Mountaineering Club.
Climbing mountains seems to have originated from man’s instinctive desire to climb high places. It is said that mountaineering began in earnest about 200 years ago.
Mountains look at us without words.
It is through mountains that we gain enlightenment and learn the meaning of life.
The mountains teach us cooperation. Patience. Sacrifice. You learn boldness and poise.
It’s like life. There are ups and downs, but sometimes there are also downs.
We have challenges, but after the challenges are over, there are times when we realize how sweet life is. That’s why I love mountain climbing. It allows us to experience life in a condensed form.
I will cherish and love our club family as I love the mountains.
Thank you.

President of the Mountaineering Club Inaugural speech by the president of the club

Dear members of the Mountaineering Club! I, ○○○, have been elected as the new president of the Mountaineering Club in 2011 with your support. First of all, I would like to thank you for entrusting me, who has many shortcomings, with the responsibility of being the ○th president of the ○○ University Mountaineering Club, and I consider it an infinite honor.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my predecessors and the executive board for their hard work and sincere efforts in developing the club and putting it on a solid foundation. Based on the experience and advice of the senior executive team, I will do my best to accept the will of the members and collect their opinions so that everyone can enjoy safe, healthy, and harmonious mountain climbing, famous mountains, and cultural tourism.
I consider it a great happiness and good fortune to be in the company of mountain people who love the mountains, resemble the mountains, breathe with nature through the mountains, and want to lead a healthy and true life.
Now, the ○th new administration would like to start climbing the mountain with all of you. When we climb the mountain, seniors are juniors, and juniors are seniors. Let’s climb the mountain together as partners, either ahead or behind. Let’s promise each other that we will be mountaineers together in the fence of the mountaineering club, just as the old saying goes that we were strangers on the way up but friends on the way down.
The more we climb together, the closer we will become, I assure you.
I would like to ask for your support and encouragement to the new executive team.
I wish you all good health and good fortune at home, and this concludes my inaugural speech.

Sample inaugural club president speech

Hello, everyone!
Greetings, honored members of the ○○ club.
Thank you very much for coming to celebrate the ○○th anniversary of the ○○ and the inauguration of the ○○th president.
In the spirit of May, the month that fosters the growth of all things, We Serve. We Serve is the foundation of our organization’s spirit, and I pledge to do my best to fulfill my duties as the next president.
I would like to honor and express my sincere gratitude to all the past presidents for their invaluable efforts, spirit of service, and noble achievements that have led me to this glorious moment of taking office.
I have chosen to title this year’s activities “Mutual Respect and Practical Service” based on the small experiences of human relations and social service that I have gained as a member of various local service organizations.
The ○○ Volunteer Club, which has a vigorous age of ○○ anniversary, will be united in friendship and loyalty by liking and respecting each other, and will participate in practical service with pride in the dark places.
We, ○○, will fill the shortage with a big heart of service, prevent the overflow with sacrifice, and create the best service club, ○○, based on practice.
I would like to thank the past presidents and the executive committee for their hard work and dedication to the development of our club under the slogan, “Voluntary service with a participative heart.
I am also energized by the enthusiasm and courage of the incoming executive team, who have joined me and held my hand with the determination to serve diligently.
To all of our guests who have joined us today to make this a festive occasion, and to all of you, our members, may you always achieve what you set out to do, and may you continue to build a truly good world with everyone you meet, especially our neighbors in difficult and shadowy places.
Thank you very much.

Sample Seasonal Greeting from the President of the Mountain Society

Good morning, everyone.
It is said that two typhoons are heading south of our country, but the good news is that they will pass by our country. We are so exhausted from the long, long rainy season, the typhoons, and the damage they caused.
It’s been three weeks since we’ve been able to go hiking in the mountains, thanks to the back-to-back August typhoons.
I think even the most patient person will feel the limit of their patience if another typhoon is added to the mix, and I’m sure I’m reaching the limit of my own patience when it comes to hiking.
I hope you can survive the remaining heat and meet fall in a cool and healthy state. Today is not a mountain, but a socializing and inauguration ceremony and dinner.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members who entrusted me with the important position of ○○Mountain Chairman. On the one hand, my shoulders are very heavy, but I promise that I will serve happily and diligently, and as president for the second half of 2012, when there will be many national ambassadors, I will keep the founding purpose of the ○○Mountain Association in my heart.
As you know, we are the most prestigious mountain club in Korea, with a number of members who are members of the ○○ National Assembly, ○○ Metropolitan Assembly, and ○○ City Council, and each of them is a respected leader in their respective fields. I would like to make a few requests and promises to you, the members, in order to continue to build on this reputation.
First of all, I would like to ask for the cooperation of all members in recruiting new members. I would like to ask each member to nominate new members who are reputable, sound-minded, and mountain-loving people, so that each member can nominate one new member, and thus multiply the membership.
Also, next year, as stated in the bylaws, we would like to create a volunteer program for community development. As a prestigious local mountaineering club, we would like to find ways to contribute to the community.
In addition, we would like to make the club a family-friendly organization where everyone can participate, so we ask for your cooperation.
Finally, I would like to thank President ○○○ and the executive committee for their hard work during the half-year.
I would also like to wish you and your families good health, happiness, fun, and good fortune, and ask for your generous guidance. We will do our best, thank you.

Season’s Greetings from the President of the Mountain Club

How are you?
It’s already February 2025. Time flies.
The older I get, the faster time seems to fly by, which sometimes makes me nervous.
This year is no different. It’s my 40th February.
It seems like just yesterday I was making resolutions in January, and now it’s February, and it’s time to take stock of how well I’ve done over the month.
January was a whirlwind, and I had a brief moment in the first week where I made a plan and took action towards my goals, but then I seem to have forgotten about them. It’s a shame that they’ve been forgotten in less than a month, so I’m going to start over today.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members who entrusted me with the important position of ○○Mountain Chairman. On the one hand, my shoulders are very heavy, but I promise that I will do my best to serve with pleasure. As president in 2012, I will keep in mind the founding purpose of the ○○Mountain Club.
As you know, the ○○Mountain Club is a prestigious organization whose members are all respected leaders in their respective fields, and I would like to make a few requests and promises to you, the members, in order to continue to build on this reputation.
First of all, I would like to ask for the cooperation of all members in recruiting new members for the 20th year. We can only be a bigger and more meaningful club if we come together. Because nothing in life is more important than connections, and nothing is more important than relationships.
I would like to ask you to do your part to multiply our membership by referring new members to reputable, sound-minded, mountain-loving people you know, so that each member can refer one new member.
Also, this year, as stated in the bylaws, we would like to create a volunteer program for community development. As a prestigious local mountaineering club, we would like to find ways to contribute to the community. We feel a sense of family as we cheer each other on during our hikes and support each other to reach the summit together. We want to pass this feeling of family not only to ourselves but also to many people through volunteer activities.
Also, we would like to run the club as a family-type mountain club where everyone in the family can participate, so we ask for your cooperation.
Finally, I would like to thank the previous president for his hard work during the year. From this year, I will work hard for the club, and I will contact you if there are any difficulties or matters to discuss, so please support me and help me to do a good job during the year.
I would also like to wish you and your families good health, happiness, fun, and good fortune, and ask for your generous guidance. I will do my best, thank you.

Example of inauguration speech for club president

Dear ○○Mountain Club members, I am very happy to meet you.
We, the members who love the mountains and hike together, are a great mountain club, like a beautiful and fragrant flower that emits the fragrance of our hometown with the same roots.
We honor our founding fathers and mothers for their hard work and leadership.
And I would like to thank the previous president, Mr. ○, who worked hard for many years to build the great mountain club like today.
I feel a heavy responsibility to take over this great organization, which is lacking in many ways. I have been called by you and stand here with a heart of service.
Honored members of the Mountaineering Society.
Climbing mountains seems to have originated from man’s instinctive desire to climb to great heights, and mountaineering began in earnest about 200 years ago.
Prior to that, climbing mountains was likely a military endeavor, as you may recall when Napoleon led his army over the Alps and launched a surprise attack on Austria, crowning his victory with the famous phrase, Nothing is impossible in my dictionary.
To be close to the mountains is to embrace the energy of the living universe. There are three elements in the universe: earth, water, and air, and they are the source of life. In the mountains, these three elements are cleaner and fresher than anywhere else.
That’s why new life continues to sprout in the mountains. It’s about energizing our bodies to live well.
Now, the mountain spirit we share belongs to the members of the Mountaineering Society more than anyone else.
The mountains look at us without words.
It is from the mountains that we gain enlightenment and learn the meaning of life.
Through the mountains, we learn cooperation. Patience. The spirit of sacrifice. We learn boldness and composure.
We, who love the mountains, honor our elders and care for our juniors, and we hope that you will join us to continue these mountain walks forever.
I promise that I will do my best to present new ideas for the development of ○○Mountain Club and collect good opinions from members to make it a better mountain club day by day.
Finally, I would like to ask for the advice and cooperation of all members of ○○Mountain Club and wish you all the best of luck and good health.

Season’s Greetings from the Club President

Dear ○○Mountain Club members, I am very happy to see you again.
Cold air is trickling into the room through a gap in one of our tightly shuttered windows, so the hot tea I have on my desk is quickly cooling down.
It seems like just yesterday we were walking in the mountains, looking at the beautiful fall colors, but the trees are already covered with snow.
The weather has also become very cold. No matter how warm you turn up the heat, the chill you feel in the walls and the cold wind coming through the cracks is proof that it’s winter.
I can’t wait for the weather to warm up, but it’s going to be a long time before this cold snap is over. I hope you enjoy the cold and have a healthy winter, and I hope that many of you will join us on our next winter hike.
We are a ○○mountain club that loves the mountains and hikes together. Dear members, we are a wonderful mountain club, like a beautiful and fragrant flower, which is more beautiful than any other mountain club because we have the same roots and exude the fragrance of our hometown.
I feel a heavy responsibility to take over this great ○○Mountain Club, which is lacking in many ways. I have been called by you and stand here with a heart of service.
Honored members of the Mountaineering Society.
Climbing a mountain is like experiencing a life in brief.
We go through life with one goal in mind, whatever it may be. It’s as if we set out to climb a mountain with a goal at the top.
And we make a plan to reach that goal. It’s like we decide what route we’re going to take to get to the top.
And that plan is subject to a lot of variables, trial and error, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
Mountaineering is the same way. If there’s an uphill climb, there’s a downhill climb.
Mountains and life are very similar. That’s why I love mountains: once I climb one and reach the top, I feel so good, like I’ve accomplished my life’s goal.
The mountains look at us without words.
In the mountains, we are enlightened and learn the meaning of life.
Mountains teach us cooperation. Patience. The spirit of sacrifice. We learn to be bold and calm.
We learn a lot and meet good people in the mountains.
The mountains are like a treasure for us.
We promise that we will do our best to develop ○○Mountain Club like a treasure in the future by presenting new ideas and collecting good opinions from members to make it a better and better mountain club. Thank you.

Message from the inaugural club president

Hello everyone!
Dear ○○Mountain Club members.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members for entrusting me with the honor of being the first president.
On the one hand, my shoulders are very heavy, but I promise that I will do my best to serve with pleasure.
○○I will always keep in mind that the value of the Husband and Wife Mountain Club is to strengthen the love of couples through happy and enjoyable mountain trips.
○○We are not just another mountain club, but a completely new mountain club. A mountain club where members are the owners, a healthy and dignified mountain club, and a happy and enjoyable mountain club. We pledge to continue to develop a novel mountain club for couples.
To our members, I would like to make a request.
Only an organization where rules are followed and order is respected will endure.
Please continue to smile in the café and on the mountain, while faithfully implementing the bylaws, guidelines, and operating guidelines that we agreed to and passed today.
If you help me and our officers in this way, we will make our precious relationship even more beautiful, and we will build a wonderful mountain club where every single member here today can meet again at next year’s general meeting and celebrate together.
I would like to thank the Vice President and all the officers for their willingness to take on the burden of being the first officers.
You and I have become a symphony orchestra with our members as the audience. Let’s work together in perfect teamwork to create wonderful harmonies to please the audience.
To our advisors who always support and encourage us.
Please continue to give us your love and criticism.
I would like to conclude my inaugural speech by thanking all of you who love the ○○Busan Orchestra even though you are not here today.
Thank you very much.

Hello, everyone.
It is autumn, the season of good harvest and abundance, when the whole of Sanya is colorfully dyed in the brilliant colors of autumn leaves, which are gradually deepening.
It is with infinite honor that I, a man who is still very much inadequate in so many ways, accept today, at your urging, the immense presidency of the ○○○ Mountain Society.
I would like to bow my head and express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of the members of ○○○ Mountain, whom I have always admired, for their guidance, attention, and support.
In particular, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the attendance of various guests and elders who have been leading our community smoothly for a long time and are still serving as an infinite spiritual support with their unwavering interest and affection.
Dear guests and members of the ○○○ Mountain Club!
I believe that in order for the ○○○ Mountain Club to become even more prominent, we must take the initiative and lead by example.
As we take today as an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to improving the health of all of our members through continuous climbing and community service, we must strive to create a brighter and healthier society in the era of wellness through active climbing and volunteer activities.
In closing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have worked hard to organize this event, and to our members who have stayed till the end to make it a meaningful event.
I would like to conclude my inaugural remarks by wishing all of you good health and good fortune in your families and in your future endeavors.
Thank you very much.
